WHAT IS THE MIDDLE HARBOUR MARINE WATCH ? |

Marine Watch Middle Harbour is a not-for-profit volunteer organisation concerned with the security and protection of boats and associated property and the reduction of marine related crime. MHMW also supports responsible, safe boating, the preservation and amenity of the environment and the fostering of community spirit and friendship. Middle Harbour Marine Watch has the support of the NSW Police Force, Marine Area Command (Sydney Water Police) and the NSW Maritime Authority and members operate in a manner to assist them to carry out their duties. |

| MHMW Strategies are to Conduct voluntary night watches and random patrols to deter criminal activity. Promote reporting of incidents to Sydney Water Police and the Police Assistance Line. Encourage dinghies being kept secured when left unattended on the waterfront. Motivate owners to use appropriate methods to mark property and install alarms. |
